The Anio 5 is like a small smartphone – only without all the unnecessary extras, specially designed for the small wrist of children from 6 years onwards. Weighing just 32 grams and with its small dimensions, the Anio 5 is the lightest and smallest children's watch with a phone function. We have deliberately omitted a camera, games and other unnecessary extras from the Anio 5. Children are already distracted and overwhelmed by digital media and the like enough these days. In many schools, smartwatches are banned because of cameras or game functions. This makes the Anio 5 school-compliant, so it can also be kept on the wrist during lessons.
The Anio Watch app for parents allows you to set and manage all the functions of your Anio 5 – like your own command center.
Here you will find out what other functions the Anio 5 smartwatch offers, what accessories are available, how the Anio 5 test went and how you can get your Anio 5!
Children's watch for calling
The Anio 5 is a children's watch with a phone function. Your child can call you directly via the Anio 5 without having to carry a smartphone around. Up to 10 numbers can be saved in the Anio app. Only these numbers can be called from the watch and also call it – unknown callers are blocked. This makes it easy and convenient for family communication to take place via the children's watch with a phone, even without a smartphone. Depending on the child's age, a dial pad can also be activated on the children's watch for calling, allowing the child to reach numbers that are not saved in the phonebook.

Like WhatsApp, only child-safe
Since there are only a few ways to protect personal data in a child-safe manner on popular services like WhatsApp, the Anio 5 smartwatch offers a safe WhatsApp alternative for children. You can send your child text and voice messages via the Anio app. Your child can then reply to you with emojis and voice messages. This also makes the watch ideal for primary school children who are still learning to read and write. Your child is always reachable and can also always reach you, whether in minor emergencies, such as a late bus, or in more serious ones.
You will be immediately informed of a new message in the chat via a push notification on your smartphone.
The best part – Secure communication:
"Data protection is taken very seriously in Germany, and German case law is also very strict in this regard. Anio is exemplary here and GDPR-compliant. In our research, we were also unable to find any incidents that indicate security vulnerabilities or data loss."

The children's phone with tracking only on the wrist
Whether a children's phone with tracking or a children's band with GPS. Often, these gadgets make you feel like you are not giving your children any freedom. Have you ever wondered, "How can I track my children without monitoring them?" The GPS tracking of the Anio 5 smartwatch is interval-controlled, and regular location determination via GPS/Wi-Fi allows you to always know where your child is. Thanks to the geofence function, you will receive a push notification when the Anio smartwatch enters or leaves a specific area.
! The Anio smartwatch is currently the only watch where tracking can be switched off !
When your child walks to school alone or just goes down the street to a friend's house. You can always see if your child has arrived safely, and you can relax worry-free.

Children's watch with emergency call
The Anio smartwatch is also useful in emergencies. The smartwatch for children offers an SOS function that allows your child to alert emergency contacts in emergencies without having to click around. In the Anio app, you can set 3 SOS contacts for the watch. If your child now uses the SOS button on the watch by pressing it for 3 seconds, the watch will dial the SOS numbers in the order in which they were also saved in the app. This continues until one of the SOS contacts answers the call. In addition, the Anio 5 sends the last determined GPS position of the watch via SMS to all 3 SOS contacts. Whether in minor or major emergencies, whether there is not enough money for ice cream or your child has fallen off their bike. Your child can always reach you to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

Mobile phone ban at schools
In many schools, smartphones and children's smartwatches are banned. Why? Quite simply: cameras & games have no place in class or at school! The Anio 5 smartwatch deliberately omits a camera, as we believe that children are still too young to be aware of the effects and risks of images posted online. For this reason, most schools also ban smartwatches with a camera function. We also omit any games, as we believe that children already spend enough time playing computer games and video games these days. Without all the unnecessary extras, the Anio 5 smartwatch can be worn without any problems in everyday school life. During class times, the specially developed children's smartwatch school mode can be activated. Here, the days of the week and times when classes take place are set in the Anio app. During these times, the display of the Anio smartwatch then automatically turns red. The touchscreen of the watch is now locked and only the home screen (i.e. the time) is displayed. All incoming calls are blocked and incoming messages are muted. After the end of the quiet time, the lock is automatically lifted and all missed messages are displayed with an exclamation mark and can now be read. A missed call is also displayed on the smartwatch with a red frame around the name in the phonebook.
The Anio 5 test
Netzwelt.de subjected the Anio 5 to the editorial test to gather Anio 5 experiences. The Anio 5 smartwatch achieved a great rating of 8.2. Here, the high-quality workmanship and the compatibility of the Anio smartwatch scored particularly well. The simple design of the children's smartwatch allows for a very ergonomic wearing experience, with a total weight of only 32g. The Anio bands are made of fabric with a stepless Velcro closure, which allows for any adjustment to all wrist sizes. Your child can thus very easily put the watch on and take it off by themselves. Thanks to the fabric band, your child does not sweat as much underneath it during sports or play, compared to a conventional rubber band. The bands are available in our shop in many different colors and can be easily replaced using a metal pin. To increase the lifespan of your Anio 5, there is also suitable accessories: a screen protector film and a protector case for the all-round protection of your Anio 5 smartwatch.
