Sicher Skifahren mit Anio

Beautiful days on the slopes can quickly become unpleasant if your child skis out of sight. Independence and a certain level of personal responsibility are also necessary for children on the mountain from a certain age to maintain the fun of skiing or snowboarding. Here you will find out how you can use the Anio 5 when skiing to let your child ski down the mountain independently yet safely and why you should not miss out on this feature of children's smartwatches!

Communication thanks to Anio 5

The phone function of the Anio 5 enables you to communicate constantly on the slopes. If you let your child ski ahead and they get out of sight, you can call the Anio 5 from your smartphone and ensure that your child has arrived safely at the lift or the agreed meeting point. Even if you should get lost in the crowds, for example at the lift, your child can simply contact you via the Anio 5 and vice versa. Up to 10 phone numbers can be stored on the Anio 5, which can be called from the watch and which can call the watch. When the integrated emergency SOS button is pressed, 3 pre-defined numbers are called one after another until someone answers. In addition to this, the watch sends an SMS to these phone numbers with the last GPS location of the watch.

GPS & tracking bring safety

Another way to provide more safety and confidence on the slopes is the GPS tracking of the children's smartwatch. The Anio 5 can be located via the Anio app on your smartphone and shows you the exact location of your child. You can set time intervals at which the watch should update its location. In this case, you should consider the battery life of the children's smartwatch. A fully charged Anio 5 usually easily lasts a whole day. Depending on which tracking interval is set for the watch, it consumes more battery. For example, an interval of 60 minutes consumes little battery. However, with a tracking interval of 5 minutes, there is a very high battery consumption.

Our battery tip:

For a few hours on the slopes, it is worth keeping the time intervals relatively short (15 min) and risking increased battery consumption to ensure that your child is not in any danger zones while skiing. The watch can then be charged, for example, during the lunch break at the hut or afterwards in the car. What other factors can influence the battery life of the Anio 5 you can read here.

More info about Anio 5

The Anio 5 children's smartwatch enables your child to make phone calls, chat, travel alone and all this without distraction. The watch has neither a camera nor games or similar gimmicks and is therefore also wearable at school. For this, the school mode can be switched on. If class times are activated, the Anio 5 turns into a completely normal wristwatch during these times. Messages and calls are muted and only become visible after class time.
