Halloween is just around the corner. It’s the day many children look forward to all year long. Spooky costumes, an Anio Halloween coloring book and fun games with the Anio 5—there’s something for everyone. And above all, the Anio 5 keeps your child safe. Find out here how to make good use of your Anio 5 this Halloween!
Get your child’s Anio 5 ready for trick-or-treating
Your child is probably looking forward to going out trick-or-treating this Halloween. Have you already been wondering how to make it work without worrying about your child and ensure they stay safe on their trick-or-treating tour? Luckily, your child has an Anio 5, so nothing stands in the way of their adventure.
On Halloween, you can use the “School route time” feature, which is normally designed to track the route to school or extracurricular activities, to track your child’s trick-or-treating route. That way, you’ll always know where your child is on the route and which way they’ve gone.
You can set up geofences in the Anio app to define a radius that you consider safe for your child. If your child enters or leaves this radius while wearing the watch, you’ll receive a push notification on your phone. As you probably already know, the Anio 5 also has a GPS feature. Find out here how to set up a geofence for Halloween and how the GPS system works.
How to set up a geofence:
- Tap the geofence icon on the right of the map.
- Then tap the plus sign to create a safety zone at the center of the current map view.
- The default icon is a house on Apple devices and a heart on Android devices.
- Now set the radius using the slider.
- The smallest radius is 300 m and the largest is 5 km.
- Now briefly tap the icon in the center of the safety zone.
You can now change the icon, set a time window during which the safety zone is active, or delete the geofence by tapping the trash can. You can also move the circle by pressing and holding the icon in its center, then dragging it. To exit the menu, tap the map outside the zone.
How the Anio 5 GPS works:
Using the Anio app—the command center for the watch—you can reliably locate your child and see their location on the map.
You can use a modified version of School route time to track your child on their trick-or-treating route.
