A girl with sunglasses and her Anio watch on her wrist

A brief announcement for all parents:

No endless scrolling 📱, no games 🎮, no social media 💬, and no device constantly demanding attention.

Instead: reachable when it counts 👩🏼 and otherwise just a clock ⌚.

Children can discover media step by step 👣.
At their own pace – not at the pace of an algorithm.

Instead: reachable when it counts 👩🏼 and otherwise just a watch ⌚.

Technology that takes a back seat.

So your child can blossom.

Why we do this

There had been nothing for a long time
in between.
There had been nothing for a long time
in between.

No device, or just the entire internet – families haven't had more choice in a long time. So we built what was missing.

So farWhat makes anio different

Many devices thrive on attention.

Our watch gains nothing when your child looks at it. No push notifications, no feeds.

Smartphones are a distraction in class.

School mode locks the screen, and there is no camera. That is why the Anio is allowed in many schools.

Ban mobile phones – or just allow everything.

Guide instead of forbidding: Anio grows with your child—from the learning clock to the mobile phone license.

Behindanio

Pilot. Father. Founder.Pilot. Father.
Founder.

Jan-Michael Wolff – everyone calls him Michel – has been flying as a pilot for over 20 years and is a father himself.

He couldn't find a watch for his daughter that he felt comfortable entrusting her data to. So he founded Anio in 2016.

Our mission

Why Anio exists.Why Anio exists.

More freedom for children.
Peace of mind for parents.
That is the idea behind Anio.

Good questions. Honest answers.

The things parents really ask us — before they order.

To the Help Center
Child wearing an Anio children’s watch
Does my child need their own mobile phone?

The Anio works completely independently with its own SIM card. You’re the only one who needs the app—on your phone.

What ongoing costs are involved?

Mobile phone plan only. With the Bling plan, that’s €5 a month for 2 GB, cancellable monthly. You can also use any other mobile phone plan. The watch is not eSIM-compatible.

How long does setup really take?

Insert a compatible nano-SIM, install the Anio app, and follow the illustrated setup instructions in the Help Center. Have your mobile plan login details ready.

Does Grandma need an app to call?

No. Saved contacts can call the watch's own phone number from a smartphone or landline. You use the Anio app to manage the watch.

Who can turn off tracking?

Only you can turn off location in the Anio app. Your child cannot change this setting.

Where is my child’s data stored?

Your child's data is stored on servers in Germany. Location data is deleted after 14 days.

What happens if the watch falls into the puddle?

The Anio 6 is waterproof to IP68. Dry it before charging and follow the water and care instructions in the user manual.

Any questions?
