Depending on the settings, the smartwatch now offers you a battery life of 24-48 hours, which of course depends on the frequency of locating, network coverage and other factors.

Children's watch for making calls - telephone function
The children's watch with phone works like a smartphone and your child can call you on your cell phone via the watch. Using the Anio app, you can now save up to 20 contacts on the watch instead of 10, which can then be called from the watch. These contacts are saved in the Anio 6 "phone book" and only these saved numbers can reach the watch. IMPORTANT: External callers are still blocked for security reasons!
For older children, you can activate a dial pad via the Anio app so that they can also call numbers outside the phone book.
New with the Anio 6:
It is no longer only possible to make 10 contacts, but 20. If your child is not yet able to read, this is also no problem. Each of the 20 contacts can be assigned its own color in the phone book. So your child always knows: Calling mom is blue, calling dad is green.

Unfortunately, WhatsApp does not offer any special parental controls, which raises safety concerns. For example, your children could receive unwanted messages, such as chain letters, from strangers or share too much personal information. WhatsApp risks for children include peer pressure, threatening chain letters, bullying and inadequate data protection. Children's wristband with GPS tracking function
The Anio 6 smartwatch has a GPS tracker. You can use the Anio app to locate your children and display their location live on the map.
IMPORTANT: If required, the GPS tracking of the children's watch can also be switched off via the Anio app! The Anio smartwatch is one of the few watches that can be switched off. Your child cannot deactivate the tracking themselves.
In addition to tracking on the map, you also have the option of setting up school travel times and geofences. This means that your child will be located at a higher interval at important times and you will be notified when your child has reached school or soccer training.

Children's watch with emergency call
In an emergency, your child quickly and easily presses the SOS button on the Anio 6 and is immediately connected to you by phone - regardless of whether there is a major or minor emergency. The Anio 6 SOS button is a good alternative to an emergency bracelet for children.
This is how it works: If your child presses the SOS button for 3 seconds, the watch calls three SOS phone numbers previously defined in the app in a specific order. These are called one after the other until one of the SOS contacts answers the call. As soon as the call is answered, your child can speak to the person using the watch's phone function.

Cell phone ban in schools - no problem with the Anio 6's school mode
The question arises more and more often: Is the Anio Smartwatch banned in schools? Our answer: There is no general ban on smartwatches in schools!
Cell phones, on the other hand, are generally banned.
The Anio 6 has a school mode specially developed for schools. This school mode can be activated and controlled via the Anio app. To do this, you set certain times for certain days of the week when the watch becomes a normal wristwatch. During these times, the Anio Smartwatch only shows the "school mode display". The watch's touchscreen is now locked and the display only shows the selected watch face with the time during this time. All incoming calls and messages are blocked and muted during this period. Your child will subsequently receive a notification of missed calls or messages on the display.
The SOS function is not blocked by the school mode.
